Thank you for choosing Smut or Guts Book Boxes! We want managing your subscription to be as simple as possible.

Subscription Billing

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize recurring automatic payments using your selected payment method according to the subscription plan you choose.

Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled before your next billing date.

You will receive a confirmation email when your subscription is created and each time your payment is successfully processed.

Managing Your Subscription

Subscribers can manage their subscription at any time through their customer portal.

Available options include:

Skip an upcoming shipment
Pause your subscription (if available)
Reschedule your next shipment
Update your shipping address
Update your payment method
Switch between eligible subscription options
Cancel future renewals

Changes must be made before your next renewal date to apply to the upcoming shipment.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your customer portal.

Your cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

If your subscription has already renewed for the month and payment has been processed, that month's order will still be fulfilled and shipped. Future renewals will not be charged after your cancellation takes effect.

Because each monthly box is curated and prepared specifically for our subscribers, processed subscription renewals cannot be canceled or refunded.

Skipping a Month

Need a break? No problem!

Subscribers may skip an upcoming shipment before the monthly renewal date without canceling their subscription.

Your subscription will automatically resume with the following month's shipment unless you choose to make additional changes.

Failed Payments

If your payment cannot be processed, we will attempt to collect payment again in accordance with our subscription platform's settings.

If payment cannot be successfully completed, your shipment may be delayed, skipped, or your subscription may be canceled until payment information is updated.

Subscription Changes

If you wish to change your subscription tier or genre, please make your changes before your monthly renewal date.

Requests received after renewal may not take effect until the following month's shipment.

Founding Member Pricing

Founding Member pricing is reserved for qualifying subscribers who maintain an active, uninterrupted subscription.

If a Founding Member subscription is canceled, the promotional pricing will end. If you subscribe again in the future, you'll do so at the current subscription price available at that time.

Founding Member pricing is non-transferable and cannot be applied to new subscriptions after cancellation.
